Colorado Videographer

Weddings. Events. Corporates. Elopements.

Hey there! I’m Jeremy McDaniel, a wedding videographer and event videographer based in Loveland, Colorado. I grew up in a small town in the Midwest until I fell in love with the mountains after college. I’m now married with 2 beautiful daughters and am proud to call Northern Colorado our home. I have a soft spot for elopements and passion for working with brands both small business and corporate. I like filming with a cinematic approach to tell your story in a documentary style.

Let’s film somethin!

Oh hey!

Me? First I’m a father to two beautiful girls, Eleanor + Lody. Second I’m a husband to my high school sweetheart, Molly. They have the house majority, lol. It’s just me and my big boy Morty (Great Pyrenees and Bernese Mountain Dog mix) holding it down!

My favorite thing about filming a wedding or event, it reminds me of game day…LET’S GO!

I like to take an editorial approach to how I film your big day. That means telling the story of your wedding, your elopement, your love and how it was celebrated on this life changing day from start to finish, catching those in-between candid moments along the way.

I take the same approach to all my work, tell a story first. I come into projects with new and exciting ideas to try but I’ll never interrupt a genuine moment to direct you. There will be plenty of moments through the day where I will pose and direct you but I want you to stay present and in the moment as much as possible. This is why I love videography so much, I’m not limited to one form of media. I grew up watching MTV, music videos, stand-up comedy specials, and movies. So to limit myself to telling your story with images alone feels like I’m being handcuffed. This is also why I don’t charge extra for audio. That’s just silly.

Whatever you’re cooking up for your big day, I’m here for it!

I like to call myself a filmmaking comedy nerd. I’m a huge stand-up comedy fan and actually learned how to use a camera because I wanted to be the one in front of it. So I grabbed my wife’s camera, switched it to video and I was hooked. I showed friends how to film their podcast and even helped film some music videos before finally helping her tag along at some elopements.

Right now being a stay at home dad is my full time job and videography is still part time. I’m taking the first few years of my daughters lives to stay at home and help raise them because as all parents have told me, “this time is irreplaceable and you’ll never get it back, enjoy it to the fullest”. Because my first job is staying home with the kids, I like to bring them with me to destination weddings, or even weddings in beautiful locations of our own great state of Colorado! The last adventure we went on was an elopement I had in Aspen Colorado at the Maroon Bells. While I was off filming, they were laid up by the hotel pool relaxing. And no, I don’t charge extra because I bring them, lol.

I was an interesting kid, never being put into one box. I was a 3 sport athlete, baseball being my favorite. I played in 3 different baseball leagues every summer; local, travel, and a tri-county travel team. I competed in speech and improv where I could still recite you quite a few Shel Silverstein poems. We used to make homemade horror movies. I did landscape construction for 13 summers, installing many patios and retaining walls.

I also work with small businesses and corporations to create captivating content with sessions tailored to fit their needs and capturing special events.

OH YEAH! I almost forgot. RFD stands for RainbowFish Design. It’s a nickname I used to call Molly (my wife) when we first started dating. She’s my rainbowfish!
